IO-APIC bo!!!

Non capisco  >:(
Spero che non sia importante e spero di postare nel posto giusto.
Quando avvio il pc con ubuntu feisty, subito dopo grub, quando avvio mi compare per qualche secondo la scritta su sfondo nero fatta così (circa)
[numerichenonricordo] MP-BIOS bug: 8254 timer not connected to IO-APIC.
poi continua il boot.
Non ho la più pallida idea di cosa sia però mi preoccupa.
Quando avevo ubuntu 6 e rotti funzionava da dio, con feisty ancora meglio, tranne che per auell'errorino

prova una o più di queste opzioni: noapic nolapic pnpbios=off come parametri del kernel al boot (gksu gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst e aggiungile alla fine della riga che inizia per kernel corrispondente al blocco relativo all'opzione grub che usi per bootare).

il mio file è fatto così, come devo modificarlo?

Innanzitutto fai un backup con sudo cp /boot/grub/menu.lst /boot/grub/menu.lst-bak , e poi cambia
