Confermo che con la procedura indicata è possibile installare correttamente daftshigt su 14.04 a 64 bit e tutto sempre funzionare correttamente.

Comando allinea (digitarlo alla riga di comando). Selezioni l'oggetto e successivamente la coppia di punti di riferimento per l'allineamento. Comunque non è l'unico metodo di allineamento.

Ho seguito la procedura consigliata installando i pacchetti 32 bit e l'installazione di Draftsight è andata a buon fine. Non è stato necessario procedere con la rimozione consigliata di "xdg-utils from the list of DraftSight's dependencies".
Confermo inoltre che Synaptic non trova i pacchetti, e che è necessario usare Ubuntu Software Center.

domanda, nell'help esiste il comando LoadApplication ma non sembra che DraftSight abbia questa funzione....

la mia odissea con draftsight e un notebook acer aspire 1690 non accenna a finire...
Il programma su avvia tranquillamente, ma molti disegni, quando aperti, lo fanno crashare immediatamente.
Oggi però sono riuscito ad avere un rapporto di crash (non so come ma ce l'ho fatta).

Ciao, siccome ho provato fino a ieri seguendo vari post su internet a installare draftsight ma il risultato che ho avuto è che non partiva più ubuntu, quindi ho dovuto reinstallare il sistema operativo, vi chiedo consiglio su come fare.
Ho ubuntu 12.04 lts e il pc a 64 bit.
Per favore mi direste passo passo come procedere?
Non vorrei ripetere l'esperienza di ieri...

Salve a tutti; preciso che il programma in questione è una versione 32 bit scaricata da 3ds.com per ubuntu 14.04, installata con GDebi. Tutto ok. lo lancio e mi appare la scheda per l'attivazione. La riempio con la mia email e altri dati richiesti e clicco sul tasto attiva. Il programma parte ma appare subito una notifica che dice di salvare o meno il lavoro e che il programma si chiuderà subito. Si genera una crash report da inviare, lo invio ma non ho mai ricevuto email di conferma e nemmeno la email per l'attivazione. Specifico che uso ubutu 14.04 lts aggiornato (e come si fa a non aggiornare spesso?). la mia scheda grafica è un Nvidia Geforce 6200, uso due monitor, il processore è un vecchio AMD athlon 3000 e il PC monta 2 giga di ram. Ringrazio x la collaborazione in anticipo chiunque volesse contribuire a questa discussione.

Con i driver ATI proprietari, sul mio notebook Draftsight era inutilizzabile, tanto che sono dovuto ritornare agli open.

proprio c'è qualcosa che non va. disinstallato draftsight. spento per un paio d'ore il PC. riacceso il PC e installato nuovamente dal pacchettto .deb ma presenta lo stesso comportamento di prima: inserisco mia email e altri dati, clicco sul tasto attiva, parte ma dà subito notifica che verrà chiuso. Parte il crash report (ho provato a dare un'occhiata ma non ci capisco niente purtroppo sono alle prime armi). possibile che solo a me draftsight 32 bit non funzioni?

Forse il problema è quello: dovresti scaricarlo dal sito ufficiale di Drafsight. Magari da 3ds.com c'è una versiona meno aggiornata che non ti dà la registrazione.

il problema è un altro: ho fatto passare più di un mese dall'installazione ai numerosi tentativi di attivazione di Draftsight e il programma parte ma si chiude subito. Salve a tutti. Sul mio Ubuntu 14.04 32 bit con memoria di 2,0 GiB, processore AMD Athlon 64 3000+, grafica Gallium 0.4 on NV4A (su doppio monitor) ho provato a installare DraftSight per Linux. Però quando la lanciavo mi appariva sempre la schermata dell'attivazione del programma (quella su cui si deve inserire il proprio indirizzo email e altri dati) e, cliccando sul tasto attiva partiva il programma che subito mi notificava che si doveva chiudere.
Allora ho provato a disinstallarlo con

e a reinstallare lo stesso pacchetto .deb con Gdebi. Gdebi alla fine dell'installazione mi dice che la stessa versione è già installata..... possibile che non riesca a trovare un sistema per avere questo programma sul mio PC? Grazie a tutti per l'attenzione e speriamo arrivi qualche contributo alla risoluzione. Credo che dovrei trovare le impostazioni di DraftSight e eliminarle radicalmente prima di reinstallare, ma non so da che parte partire. Grazie.

Prova ad eliminare, con i privilegi di amministratore, le seguenti cartelle con i relativi contenuti:

Qualche mese fa, a me, la notifica di attivazione (non so per quale imperscrutabile motivo) era finita nella cartella degli spam!
