Errore apt-get update

Ogni volta che aggiorno da terminale mi da quest' errore:
W: Duplicate sources.list entry
http://it.archive.ubuntu.com feisty/universe Packages (/var/lib/apt/lists/it.archive.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_dists_feisty_universe_binary-i386_Packages)
W: Duplicate sources.list entry

W: È consigliabile eseguire apt-get update per correggere questi problemi
Ripetendo il comando va tutto a posto. Mi da quest' errore ogni volta e alla seconda tutto ok... ???

Rispetto ai repository standard hai aggiunto qualcosa. Ti consiglio di rimettere quelli ufficiali e poi di aggiungere uno alla volta quelli in più, ripetendo l'update. Una volta che ti viene segnalato l'errore, hai capito qual è il repo che ti crea problemi.
Intanto, metti i repo classici:
Codice: Seleziona tutto
sudo cp /etc/apt/sources.list /etc/apt/sources.list.bak
sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
cancella il contenuto del file e copiaci questo

deb http://it.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ feisty main universe restricted multiverse
deb-src http://it.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ feisty main universe restricted multiverse

salva e chiudi.
Poi dài
A questo punto non dovresti avere errori e puoi cominciare con il test: aggiungi un repo alla volta e ripeti l'update finché non individui quello che ti dà il problema.

se non ho capito male.. (cosa probabile) il file source.list è duplicato.. ???
questo è quello che ho in /ect/apt :
apt.conf.d sources.list sources.list.bak sources.list.save trusted.gpg
secring.gpg sources.list~ sources.list.d trustdb.gpg trusted.gpg~

anche a me dava lo stesso errore, ho seguito i consigli, ora il mio file sources.list è uguale a sn@az, e ho quest'errore:

potrebbe dipendere da quello che si trova in sistema--preferenze--sorgenti software?

ora non da' piu' quel problema, pero' mi sorge un dubbio, tutto quello che avevo prima nel file sources.list lo posso rimettere?

Quello che ti ho dato io sono gli stessi repository che avevi prima non duplicati puoi lasciare tutto così

ok, ho fatto così e funziona, non ricordo più se avevo anche delle altre voci nel mio sources, però quello che mi piacerebbe capire, se ti va, perchè l'elenco che mi hai fornito funziona?
cosa significa quello che ho scritto?
