Stavo lavorando con beryl ed ecco qua i miei problemi che mi sono usciti dopo un riavvio.

Quando usi apt-get da terminale, devi chiudere Adept. Viceversa, se usi l'installer grafico (Adept) quando è bloccato apt-get, allora ti risulterà a sua volta bloccato.
Quindi, o uno o l'altro aperto

Arriciao Ulisse ho provato a fare quello che mi hai descritto te... ma non credo che sia andato a buon fine.
Quindi ti faccio vedere cosa è venuto fuori.

Pare che il mal funzionamento di adept dipenda da un bug,
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=117185 per cui si consiglia di installare sinaptyc che è più sicuro.
Intanto devi decommentare due righe. Queste:
