Salve a tutti, mi dispiace riscrivere un post doppio, ho visto qualcosa del genere in questo link:http://forum.ubuntu-it.org/index.php?ac ... replies=14
l'ho seguito, ma senza successo...quindi mi rivolgo nuovamente alla comunità..

Il problema è fastidiosissimo, praticamente le impostazioni Nvidia-settings non si memorizzano, rimangono attive solo se lancio il programmino nvidia-settings.
Esempio: apro un filmato, lo vedo praticamente scurissimo da non riconoscere le immagini, lancio nvidia-setting, e tutto ritorna perfetto, immagini nitide e perfette.Dopodichè, chiudo il filmato(chiudo proprio totem...) riapro un'altro filmato e nonostante nvidia -settings sia già aperto tutto ritorna nero, costringendomi a chiudere e riaprire nuovamente nvidia-setting.

Il fatto è stranissimo, ad alquanto fastidioso, ripeto nel link sopra indicato ho già provato, ma nulla...

Oltre ai permessi guarda la data.... deve essre di oggi!

modifica le preferenze del riproduttore. ad esempio totem:
modifica>preferenze
linguetta video e ci sono i controlli.

Sembra funzionare!!!!!! Però una domanda l'avrei ancora..come mai l'ho ha fatto con tutti i player???è un fatto alquanto strano???

Per far mantenere la configurazione a nvidia-setting: (dalla pagina di man)

  3. Loading Settings Automatically
      The  NVIDIA  X  driver does not preserve values set with nvidia-settings between runs of the X server
      (or even between logging in and logging out of X, with xdm(1), gdm, or kdm ).  This  is  intentional,
      because  different users may have different preferences, thus these settings are stored on a per-user
      basis in a configuration file stored in the user’s home directory.

      The configuration file is named ~/.nvidia-settings-rc.  You can  specify  a  different  configuration
      file name with the --config commandline option.

      After you have run nvidia-settings once and have generated a configuration file, you can then run:

            nvidia-settings --load-config-only

      at  any  time  in  the future to upload these settings to the X server again.  For example, you might
      place the above command in your ~/.xinitrc file so that your settings are applied automatically  when
      you log in to X.

L'ho scoperto ora....

confermo che funziona! però occorre sistemare il bilanciamento del colore anche da totem altrimenti la modifica fatta per far caricare ad ogni avvio di X il file di configurazione di nvidia-settings non serve a niente!!
