Well, for those that believe AMSN is dead, it's not! Just grab and try the CVS version. We're working hard to have a brand new version ready. When will it be ready for release? We don't know!

Apart from that, we have noticed that some words are censored in the Messenger network. For example, it looks like you can't send messages containing the words: download.php. Just try it! The conversation will be instantly closed. In the original Messenger, the message containing those words will silently dissapear for ever. In AMSN you'll get a delivery error after a minute. I think this a completely ridiculous, a strike agains free expression in the Internet. What do you think about this? Have you discovered more censored words? Can you tell us?

...però usando gaim e il plugin gaim-encryption la censura non funziona

Non l'ho ancora provato perchè gaim 2.0beta mi sta piacendo molto, soprattutto quel plugin che si chiama gaim-encryption

Io
Gaim è migliorato parecchio sia come interfaccia sia come funzionalità, e ci sono dei plugin molto interessanti come il sopracitato Gaim-Encryption, senza tralasciare Guifications. L'unica pecca è che non riesco a sentire i suoni degli eventi, e facendo un sondaggio ho scoperto di non essere l'unico, comunque è poca cosa rispetto al gran lavoro fatto.
Di amsn sapevo che avrebbe supportato le webcam, di gaim non ne sono certo, qualcuno ne sa di più?

sapevo che c'era un progetto , una specie di fork di gaim per questo.ma non so altro...
a cosa serve questo plug in che citate in molti?

Serve a criptare le connessioni tra due utenti con il metodo chiave pubblica - chiave privata..
