Come si fa a testare la scheda video?

Ho una radeon9250 e ieri sera grazie all'aiuto che mi avete dato ho configurato i driver openGL in modo da ottenere le massime prestazioni.
Per farlo ho seguito la guida

e ho configurato la sezione device del file xorg.conf con queste impostazioni

La prima prova che puoi fare è:

io ho una nvidia 8400 silent... ma è normale che la scritta sul desktop del fuoco mi appare tipo 4 secondi dopo che la scrivo? se no.. cosa devo fare?

ah.. ho ubuntu 9.04 a 64bit e tramite envy ho aggiornato all'ultimo driver nvidia

Probabilmente il test migliore è far girare programmi che richiedono l'accelerazione 3d. Google earth (magari attivando anche i palazzi 3d...) o qualche gioco tipo tremolous o nexuiz (http://wiki.ubuntu-it.org/Giochi/Azione) sono dei buoni esempi.

si ragazzi ma io in fin dei conti vorrei sapere se cosi come sto sono apposto con i driver o se devo installare qualche altra cosa..
la scheda video è un ati radeon x1200 e i video sia su youtube che su guardafilm non si vedono benissimo ma un po' a scatti...con winzoz non m idava questi problemi

Ragazzi, ho un problema: ho fatto i test anche io con una Radeon HD6770 e sinceramente mi aspettavo un risultato ben maggiore di 60 FPS a giudicare dai vostri risultati... avrò sbagliato a configurare qualcosa? Eppure uso i driver Amd!
