Utility temperatura CPU [Risolto]

Esiste una utility per monitorare la temperatura della CPU?

Per la veste grafica puoi vedere anche le applet per gDesklets (un po' pesanti secondo me, solo per Gnome) oppure uno che trovo ottimo è GKrellM.

Ok ho installato da synaptic GKrellM ora da dove lo faccio partire?

Non ricordo se lo aggiunge direttamente al menu in Applicazioni -> Strumenti di Sistema altrimenti lancia sempre da lì Applications Menu Editor e lo crei tu mettendo come collegamento:

Ok ho installato e fatto partire GKrellM, mi visualizza tutto tranne che la temperatura.
Sono andatato nelle impostazioni e mi dice che non ho installato i sensori.
Eppure lm-sensor lo avevo installato...
quali altri sensori si riferisce? (spero non hardware perchè su winzozz coc un altro programmino riuscivo a monitorare la temp e la velocità delle ventole)

anche a me la parte dei sensori dà problemi, ad ogni avvio segna "setting sensor limits failed".
anche a me interesa la soluzione.

Se leggete la descrizione del pacchetto o date un occhi sul sito di lm_sensors c'è scritto cosa fare una volta installato il pacchetto.

Controlla sul sito di lm_sensors che il chip della tua scheda madre sia supportato.

devi andare ad abilitare il sensore spuntandolo. e idem sull'applet devi andare a dire quale sensore ti interessa spuntandolo.

Controlla sul sito di lm_sensors che il chip della tua scheda madre sia supportato.

Grazie, ora ci guardo, anche se un sensore l'ho già trovato, però credevo di averne di più.

Dopo tutta la ricerca fatta mediante 'sudo sensors-detect', l'ultima cosa che vi chiede è quella di inserire i sensori rilevati in un file (non ricordo il nome  ::)). Di default la risposte è NO, cioè vi consiglia di inserirli manualmente, mentre rispondendo YES li inserirà lui e quindi al prossimo riavvio i sensori saranno automaticamente riconosciuti.

Comunque, per sapere quali sensori sono attivi (ovvero, rilevati da lm-sensors) ed i dati (es. la temperatura o la velocità delle ventole della CPU) date il comando sensors dal terminale. In questo modo capite se è GKrellM a dare problemi oppure no.
