NO!
Essendo che ubuntu è su (hd0,0) probabilmente xp sarà su (hd0,1)
Aggiungi in coda a tutto, nel menù.lst, (per intenderci dopo la riga "### END DEBIAN AUTOMAGIC KERNELS LIST").
title Windows Xp (oppure il nome che vuoi tu)

allora. fatto tutto e riavviato. al primo riavvio mi ha dato grub e mi ha fatto scegliere anche xp. L'ho avviato e tutto ok. Quando però ho nuovamente riavviato...va direttamente su xp senza passare da grub :-\

imposta un valore diverso, magari per provare, imposta 20 e vedi se reagisce allo stesso modo...

dunque. fatto come hai detto e funziona. il problema è che una volta riavviato il pc da xp non riparte più con grub, ma va direttamente su xp. come se non tenesse in memoria l'avvio

hai guardato che non si sia di nuovo modificato il menu.lst.
