Salve ho questa notifica e non posso installare niente:
Impossibile inizializzare le informazioni del pacchetto
Si è verificato un problema irrisolvibile durante l'inizializzazione delle informazioni del pacchetto.
Segnalare questo bug per il pacchetto «update-manager» e includere il seguente messaggio d'errore:
'E:MMap dinamica esaurita. Aumentare la dimensione di APT::Cache-Limit. Il valore attuale è: 25165824 (man 5 apt.conf)., E:Si è verificato un errore nell'elaborare kdebase-workspace-data (NewVersion1), E:Problem with MergeList /var/lib/apt/lists/it.archive.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_dists_jaunty-backports_main_binary-i386_Packages, E:L'elenco dei pacchetti o il file di stato non può essere letto o aperto.'

Come puoi vedere anche tu, hai dei repository di Jaunty, mentre tu se non sbaglio, hai Lucid... fai così: dai :
e raggiungi le voci che vedi con Jaunty e le modifichi mettendoci un # davanti... poi salvi e ridai:
