Salve! Come si evince dal titolo ho un problema per partizionare il mio hard disk. Ho appena comprato un computer nuovo con windows preinstallato, ma accanto a questo vorrei installarci la nuova versione di ubuntu. Descrivo meglio il mio problema.

Inizialmente le partizioni sono così:

/dev/sda1 ntfs SYSTEM          399.00 MiB  242.14  MiB
/dev/sda2 ntfs WINDOWS      232.54 GiB      67.75 GiB
/dev/sda3 ntfs Data              232.83 GiB      13.95 GiB

ma vorrei che diventassero così:

/dev/sda1 ntfs SYSTEM          399.00 MiB    242.14  MiB
/dev/sda2 ntfs WINDOWS    438.36 GiB        67.75 GiB
/dev/sda3 ntfs Data                27.01 GiB      13.95 GiB

in modo che quando avvio l'installazione possa selezionare semplicemente "installa ubuntu accanto a windows" e possa dargli sufficentemente spazio!!!! Il problema è che quando faccio la procedura di ridimensionamento mi dice prima:

You have queued an operation to move the start sector of partition /dev/sda3.  Failure to boot is most likely to occur if you move the GNU/Linux partition containing /boot, or if you move the Windows system partition C:.

riesci a fare uno stamp della schermata di gparted, quando si vede l'elenco delle partizioni?

Si certo, ecco qui!

invece di toccare windows, non potresti ridurre sda3 di una 20ina di giga e trasformare lo spazio liberato in estesa, al cui interno mettere ubu?

Appare non appena tento di modificare la partizione "Data"!

per quanto conosco la lingua della perfida albione Failure to boot is most likely to occur if you move the GNU/Linux partition containing /boot, or if you move the Windows system partition C:. ti avverte che un errore di boot è possibile se sposti una partizione GNU/Linux che contenga la directory  /boot o se sposti il filesystem di win sul disco C: Nnessuna delle due cose accade se riduci la partizione dei dati

EDIT: le operazioni sulle partizioni sono sempre potenzialmente pericolose = fatti un backup
