Attivare i sensori sul pc

Buondì! E' da un pò che uso Ubuntu ma non sono per niente pratico di smanettamenti... :-[ per cui ancora una volta ho bisogno del vostro aiuto :-[ Spero di avere postato nella sezione giusta....
Volevo attivare qualche screenlet per vedere le temperature sul mio pc, solo che a quanto pare i sensori sono disattivati. Mi ricordo che non molto tempo fa le screenlet che ho provato stamattina andavano perfettamente, ora invece tutte dicono che non rilevano sensori...penso si siano disattivati dopo un aggiornamento o qualcosa del genere come capita alla sospensione del pc chiudendo il coperchio dopo gli aggiornamenti (appena installato da cd ubuntu 10.4 era tutto ok, poi dopo un pò di aggiornamenti non è più andata questa cosa e penso che per i sensori di rilevamento sia stata la stessa cosa).

eh, è proprio li che ho dato un occhiata per provare di risolvere ma c'è qualcosa che non va. mi restituisce cose che sulla guida non dice e tutto risulta sempre disattivato. il fatto è che tempo fa andava >:(

generalmente non serve sudo in sensors ma mi ero preoccupato del fatto che per qualche motivo di chissa` quali permessi non rilevasse i sensori.

andava però prima, me lo ricordo bene perchè avevo messo le screenlets sul desktop per un pò! questo è il risultato comunque

sempre su ubuntu 10.04?
non escluderei che non ci sia proprio il supporto in quel vecchio kernel.

Sì sì, sempre su ubuntu 10.4! se dici potrei fare un aggiornamento alla 10.10 o alla 11.04 se sono stabili

Lo spero proprio! Ultimamente mi sta dando un pò di problemi ubuntu, ogni tanto mi si blocca o va lentissimo, non so da cosa possa dipendere, non me ne intendo purtroppo. comunque piano piano provo a risolvere!

personalmente non me la sento di consigliarti l'aggiornamento di versione.
prova con un live cd di ubuntu 10.04 e verifica se dal kernel predefinito ti rileva i sensori, eventualmente carica il modulo coretemp come visto prima.
se anche in quello non li rileva prova con i live cd piu` recenti.
non conosco gli i3, io ho un i5 e le temperature le rilevo da coretemp e da w83627ehf

come non detto, nel live cd non c'e` neanche il modulo per quei sensori a quanto pare.
installa lm-sensors e ridai sudo sensors-detect nel live cd di ubuntu 10.04.
se non ti rileva i sensori nemmeno li` allora usavi qualche altro kernel o sistema per rilevare i sensori in ubuntu lucid.

era sempre questa
è da 1 anno che uso sempre e solo questa, l'unica cosa che faccio è aggiornarla ecco, nulla di più, è capitato che ho fatto l'avanzamento di versione appena uscita la 11.04, ma poi visti tutti i bug ho reinstallato la mia 10.4 sempre da quel cd e riaggiornato tutto, ma mi pare proprio che le screenlets di temperatura, quando funzionavano, le avevo provate dopo aver reinstallato la 10.4 per cui su quest'installazione che sto usando ora
