[Desktop] [RISOLTO] problemi con Gnome setting daemon

All'avvio di gnome mi ritrovo i pannelli impazziti e un messaggio che mi indica che il settings-daemon è stato fatto partire troppe volte.
Ho provato con sudo dpkg-reconfigure gdm e mi dà questo output.

con il comando gnome-theme-manager ottengo una schermata di errore:

Unable to start the settings manager 'gnome-settings-daemon'.

Chiudendo la schermata rimane nel terminale:

Prova a fare una cosa, anche se potrebbe non essere questa.
Togli dalla tua home il file .dmrc così :

mv ~/.dmrc ~/Desktop
riavvia gnome e vedi se ancora continua a fare così. Per rimettere le cose a suo posta, se non funziona, dai :

mv ~/Desktop/.dmrc ~/

purtroppo nulla.. come al solito all'avvio comincia a caricare un set di icone e temi dietro l'altro, come se non riuscisse a stabilizzarsi su uno solo e quando vado su 'temi' non riesce a visualizzarne correttamente la finestra.. non capisco
E' possibile riinstallare da zero la sessione gnome?

Non saprei, ti avevo proposto di fare così in quanto nel pc di mio fratello aveva un problema simile, e avevo risolto così. In particolare quando caricava la sessione di gnome, crashavano i pannelli e non si riusciva ad entrare.
Cosa intendi con "reinstallare da zero la sessione gnome"? reinstallare tutto gnome?

Ho notato, comunque, che ogni volta che vado su temi e cerco di sceglierne uno al riavvio successino cerca di caricarmelo dopo tutti gli altri, come se si creasse una 'coda di temi'.. sai dove vengono caricati i temi personali? Magari sto aggiungendo, sessione dopo sessione, temi a quelli che avevo, e ogni tema non si sostituisce al precedente, ma si aggiunge ad esso.. Per me intervenire è un po' complicato.. Ti chiedevo se era possibile eliminare e rimettere gnome (io ho kde come default)..

Cosa dici? Si può?

ho reinstallato gnome.. risultato identico.. ho guardato sul forum internazionale.. pare un problema irrisolto (nessuna risposta ai treads). Qualcuno ha il mio stesso problema?

Io ho lo stesso problema, Gnome ci mette una vita a caricarsi, quando ci riesce ha il tema di default (non human) e si apre una finestra con scritto:

Si è verificato un errore durante l'avvio del demome delle impostazioni di GNOME.

Alcuni aspetti come temi, suoni o impostazioni dello sfondo potrebbero non funzionare correttamente.

L'ultimo messaggio di errore è stato:

Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.

GNOME tenterà di riavviare il demone delle impostazioni al prossimo login.

inoltre da quando è successo questo, non riesco più a far partire i programmi
da shell, mi dice :

mi sa che è un baco.. Ho inviato con bug buddy (che si apre automaticamente all'avvio di gnome) una segnalazione a bugzilla, ma mi hanno risposto che non riescono a cavarne nulla e che hanno bisogno di non so quali informazioni aggiuntive (a stack trace with debugging symbol):

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
Unfortunately, that stack trace is missing some elements that will help a lot
to solve the problem, so it will be hard for the developers to fix that crash.
Can you get us a stack trace with debugging symbols? Please see

Ho provato a seguire la procedura con l'installazione di un pacchetto [pkg-create-dbgsym] per creare automaticamente i debugging symbol per pacchetti .deb.
Al nuovo riavvio di gnome ora bug buddy mi dà:
