Premetto: non sono affatto uno di quelli "bravi" con ubuntu, ma mi piace sperimentare, provare e cercare di capirci qualcosa...
Venendo al problema... parecchio tempo fa ho installato concky, mi son divertito a modificarlo a mio piacimento e, trovando la cosa molto utile, ho inserito uno script trovato in giro che mi consente di sapere se e quante e-mail nuove mi sono arrivate sul mio account gmail.. script che ha sempre funzionato benissimo.
Fino a qualche mese fa tutto ok, poi nemmeno ho acceso il pc per almeno un mesetto, e ora, senza aver apportato nessuna modifica, continua a segnalarmi "0 email nuove" anche se in realtà ne arrivano! Sottolineo che mi da proprio valore "0" e non "null" come se ci fosse un problema di connessione o che ne so io... :/
Il conky completo è abbastanza incasinato, vi posto la parte che riguarda lo script e lo script in questione, sperando che qualcuno magari riesce a capirci qualcosa!
