DBus o dbus

Sono abituato ad utilizzare Docky, mi trovo benissimo, soprattutto utilizzando il portatile, in più è carino da vede...
Purtroppo con l'ultimo upgrade, non funziona più.
Vi copio il terminale così capite:

Considerando che usa il kernel 4.4 (quindi credo Ubuntu 16.04) potrebbe averlo installato tramite PPA

pps per come la vedo io ha ben poco senso installare docky che si porta dietro una zavorra enorme di pacchetti di dipendenze. Ha più senso adoperare plank che necessita di pochissime dipendenze ed ha più o meno le stesse funzioni di docky

@Fiore! posta il messaggio di errore invece di raccontarlo, inoltre che versione di ubuntu usi? Che desktop usi (unity, gnome-shell, mate ecc)? Inutile continuare a fare congetture se non posta ulteriori informazioni!

Ok, la versione è Kubuntu 16.04.4 LTS x64

Sul discorso errore, non mi segna errore, semplicemente non parte, aprendolo tramite terminale, mi dice che non trova DBus, con le prime 2 lettere maiuscole, come ho scritto nel primo post, io ho presente dbus (lettere minuscole), penso io che il problema sia dovuto a questo.
Prima dell'aggiornamento funzionava bene.

e per quale motivo lo lanci con sudo?
Prima dell'aggiornamento funzionava bene
l'ultimo aggiornamento della versione stabile di docky risale a giugno del 2011
http://www.go-docky.com/index_title_Changelog.html
e pure la versione in "sviluppo" è ferma al 2015 https://launchpad.net/docky/2.2
sarà che con le nuove versioni di alcuni DE docky non funziona più dato che in pratica è un software "abbandonato"?

Di norma lui si apre automaticamente all'avvio del PC.
Cliccando sull'icona, vedi un po' di caricamento dall'icona del mouse, poi basta.
Il discorso terminale, l'ho provato ora che non va.

Comunque funziona anche con l'ultima versione di plasma 5.13 quindi il problema sta da un'altra parte e lo si può capire solo postando l'errore che dovrebbe dare lanciandolo dal terminale semplicemente con

Il problema del primo post è risolto, perché adesso ricevi una sessione di D-Bus. Adesso ricevi un altro errore.
Qui le righe sono così tante che non mi permette di copiare tutto, pure i post qui sono limitati a 40.000 caratteri, la parte tagliata sono i ...
Su un sistema normale, il comando find . ! -user $USER non trova nessun file. Sul tuo sistema però trova centinaie. Quindi non vale la pena indagare oltre.

:) Salve, prima di formattare e reinstallare, cosa ovvia, cerca di capire perché è successo, altrimenti presto o tardi ti ritroverai nella stessa situazione.

E non dimenticare un bel backup preventivo.

File non ne ho molti, li tengo tutti su un raid 1 in un altro PC che accedo via rete.
Più che altro sono le varie impostazioni, Kubuntu ha pure varie aggiunte grafiche che ho personalizzato.

Sul discorso errori, non ho fatto grandi cose, però una cosa che faccio regolarmente sono:

Forse qualche problema col connetterti in rete, o qualche impostazione errata nel farlo.
