Le prestazioni sono calate a picco!
Io ho notato che ho un altro serio problema...Xorg inizia ad occupare sempre più ram con il passare dell'uptime anche senza effetti attivati e senza aver aperto nessun programma! Così dopo qualche ora mi ritrovo il computer inutilizzabile perchè xorg occupa 500 MB di ram fisica e altrettanti nella memoria virtuale!
C'è qualcuno che ha il mio stesso problema?
Sarebbe davvero fastidioso se questo bug non viene risolto in tempo per l'uscita della stable di jaunty...
Comunque per il momento un modo per migliorare la situazione è installare una versione precedente di xserver-xorg-video-intel
che è possibile scaricare da qui
http://ppa.launchpad.net/siretart/ppa/ubuntu/pool/main/x/xserver-xorg-video-intel-2.4/xserver-xorg-video-intel-2.4_2.4.1-1ubuntu11~ppa1_i386.deb
In alternativa è possibile abilitare l'accelerazione UXA direttamente in xorg.conf
Questa infatti dovrebbe aumentare le prestazioni ma qualcuno ha notato un po' di instabilità.
Comunque basta modificare di nuovo il file per tornare sui vostri passi.
Per abilitare UXA aprire il terminale e digitare:
