vai nella ruga che hai aggiunto:

ho fatto, ma come prima non viene trovato lo scanner
vanno bene quei due programmi collegato via usb?

E' già installato, crei un file di testo nella tua cartella Home o sulla Scrivania, lo salvi e poi ci clicchi sopra col tasto destro del mouse e seleziona Crea un Archivio, poi clicca su Crea e ti crea un file.zip

Solo a titolo di cronaca vi dico come ho fatto io con la mia stampante casalinga, che dal nome non mi sembra troppo distante da questa. Tanto per cominciare non è neanche installata, è connessa al router casalingo e quando la accendo mi compare la notifica "stampante aggiunta" o "stampante disponibile" non ricordo esattamente. Con una 20.04 e il suo hplip standard, senza installare nulla se non il plugin, la stampante e lo scanner di rete funzionano perfettamente. Prima di accenderla

non c'è nessuna parentela tecnologica.

La prima è un prodotto tecnologicamente tutto HP, il secondo sembra tanto una evoluzione della produzione Samsung, di cui HP ha comprato la divisione stampanti nel 2016.

Questa è una M2885fw ancora marcata Samsung, mi sembra percepibile la parentela.

A occhio, e senza saperne nulla di hardware, hai più che ragione. Segnalo ai mods perchè valutino se "archiviare" il mio inutile post, e a questo punto anche il tuo che non avrebbe più ragione d'essere
ps: mi sembrava abbastanza consecutivo, vatti a fidare di quelli che decidono il nome del modello
