si idue pacchetti sono installati..per masterizzare non uso nessun programma dato che la mia unica preoccupazione adesso è quella di far andare il lettore/masterizzatore dvd+rw Ricoh (mi sembra si chiami cosi)..sulla hoary mi dava lo stesso problema ma inserendo queste "hdc=noprobe hdc=cdrom" nella riga del kernel nel file menu.lst, al successivo riavvio funzionava tutto, mentre adesso no...cioè, devo inserireil cd (o dvd) e riavviare il tutto, allora mi compare il desktop con l'icona del cdrom montato...se però lo smonto poi devo ripetere il riavvio perchè lo rimonti un'altra volta...quindi il sistema del file menu.lst in parte funziona, forse la soluzione sta proprio nel dover riavviare il pc, magari bisogna cambiare qualke impostazione....se può essere utile posto il risultato di dmesg hdc:
