Salve vorrei sapere come faccio ad avere l'accelerazione grafica 3d della mia scheda ati 9200 se.  Poi volevo sapere una cosa...Perché quando cambio la risoluzione del mio schermo la scheda "impazzisce"?Grazie mille! ???

Io ho la tua stessa scheda video e la utilizzo con compiz e comp. a tutti gli effetti... e funziona benissimo...  :-\

Scusami...Che guida hai usato?Io ho usato questahttp://wiki.ubuntu-it.org/Hardware/Video/Ati/RadeonDriver...Sono arrivato nel punto "testare il driver". Nel terminale ho seguito questo passo  è il risultato è questo:

Seguendo la guida poi dice "Se ottieni No direct rendering allora molto probabilmente la tua scheda non è supportata dal driver open source".
Infatti l'accelerazione grafica 3d non c'è l'ho e non posso nemmeno cambiare la mia risoluzione altrimenti la scheda video "impazzisce". Vorrei sapere cosa posso fare...Ho sbagliato qualcosa?Sono nelle vostre mani..Grazie mille in anticipo...

Al posto di vesa, deve essereci scritto radeon, altrimenti non li abiliterai mai i driver...
Modifica il file aprendolo con:

Segnalo lo stesso problema, ma dopo aver seguito le indicazioni, non ho ottenuto la attivazione dell accelerazione 3d.
Ho una ati radeon 9200 e vorrei far andare compiz. posto il mio xorg.conf

Vedo molte voci aggiunte nel tuo, prova a seguire il link postato in precedenza...
