[Video] Problemi con webcam integrata....HELP ME!!!

Salve a tutti!!!...ho un problemino con la webcam integrata del mio pc...il mio pc è un packard bell easynote mx45006...praticamente dopo aver installato cheese e una volta fatto partire ho notato che dalla mia web nn s vedeva niente...grigiore assoluto, come se nn fosse connessa...ho letto alcuni topic e ho provato a dare il comando lsusb per vedere quali e quante periferiche attive c sono,ma niente da fare...sembra nn la riveli neanche come se nn fosse accesa...finora nn me ne sono mai accorto in quanto nn l'ho mai usata...qualcuno a suggerimenti?

inzia intanto col verificare se viene riconosciuta... dai un dmesg e vedi che ti viene fuori...potrebbe essere un problema di driver, in tal caso solo conoscendo il modello della webcam si può stabilire come procedere...

ho guardato con google ma sembra molto difficile far funzionare la tua webcam su ubuntu
prova a fare una ricerca con google mettendo il risultato di lsub che riguarda la tua webcam

Considerando il fatto che ho un mouse della logitec...
purtroppo è la webcam che sta dando molti problemi a moltissimi utilizzatori di portatili Asus. A tutt'ora non sò se sono stati rilasciati i driver..
il portatile è un Asus giusto? che modello?

forse la tua webcam dovrebbe funzionare coi driver uvc
prova a fare cosi
prima installi i build-essential e il pacchetto subversion
svn checkout svn://svn.berlios.de/linux-uvc/linux-uvc/trunk
poi
cd ~/trunk
poi
make
poi
sudo make install
poi
sudo depmod -ae

dopo
sudo nano /etc/modules
ed aggiungi
uvcvideo
