[Ati] [Monitor] Bande nere

Salve io ho un desktop che monta una scheda video Ati 9200 SE e un monitor crt LG Studioworks..In questo desktop è installato windows xp e ubuntu. Ma quando faccio partire ubuntu mi vengono delle bande nere come una cornice.
Ho seguito questo guida nella sezione "Sistemi dual boot Win-Linux":

Quando digita nel terminale il monitor va fuori frequenza.
Vi posto il mio xorg.conf
Come posso fare a levare queste odiose bande nere?Ho sbagliato qualcosa?
