Tasto Fn

Ciao a tutti,
da oggi il mio pc (MacBook v3.1) è impazzito ed ha smesso di funzionare il tasto Fn e di conseguenza tutte le combinazioni di tasti che facevo con esso.
Qualcuno ha un'idea di cosa posso fare?!

P.S. Ho postato in Hardware perchè non sapevo dove postare, ma in realtà non è un problema "strettamente" hardware dato che su MacOsX il tasto ovviamente funziona...

puoi darci piu indicazioni? tipo l'ultimo programma installato o l'ultima cosa che hai fatto...

PS. il tasto Fn sarebbe Ctrl?

No il tasto Fn non è CTRL, è quel tasto che hanno i portatili per aumentare le combinazioni di tasti disponibili...

Il problema è che non ho fatto assolutamente niente... ieri funzionava, oggi no ma nel frattempo non ho installato un bel niente...

Vai un po' a vedere se fosse successo qualcosa alla tastiera. Il percorso è: menu Sistema > preferenze > tastiera, magari un qualche accidente (di cui non ti sei accorto) ha fatto casino con xorg.conf  :-\

purtroppo già fatto...

ora però mi accorgo di avere qualche problemi a Xorg, ad esempio dopo un pò che uso il pc all'ennesima applicazione aperta (da linea) mi dà:

Non ho idea di che cosa posso aver fatto

L'errore di sopra ho scoperto essere causato da compiz (che comunque fin'ora aveva sempre funzionato bene e che non ho "toccato" recentemente)...

Ma Fn è sempre "scomparso"  >:(

Non sò se le due cose sono collegate...

Se vado a cercare, da "Impostazioni di Sistema" (Io uso Kubuntu...) di configurare Keyboard&Mouse prima di "entrare" nella funzione mi dice:

Shared Memory is not accessible.
Please add the option 'SHMConfig ''on''' into the touch pad section of /etc/X11/xorg.conf

anche se SHMConfig è "on" in xorg, e come conseguenza non funziona KSynaptics...
Sono disperato più che altro del fatto che non riesco a capire cosa posso aver fatto...

prova a ricompilare xorg: sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
