Pc si blocca con Nvidia Geforce 6200

Salve!
Dopo aver installato la scheda video ed i relativi driver tramite envy il pc parte ma dopo circa 5 minuti si blocca  >:( >:( >:( (prima del blocco però non riesco ad attivare la connessione) ora nello xorg.conf ho messo i driver "vesa".......

Qualcuno sa come risolvere???

posta il tuo xorg.conf e...credimi ti consiglio di tralasciare envy...provato con la guida del wiki?

purtroppo non posso postare lo xorg.conf perchè ho disinstallato envy ed i relativi driver e sto provando ad installarli da altre fonti comunque ora mi da questo errore:

Ho provato altri driver ma si blocca lo stesso (sono costretto a riavviare), e lo scritte sono leggermente opache.

ho provato ad installare con il restricted manager ma mi da questo errore:

da quel che vedo sembra che tu debba aggiornare lo xorg

ancora non riesco a risolvere, ho disinstallato tutto poi ho installato nuovamente i driver tramite envy ma niente,  >:( poi ho disintallato quest'ultimi e ho riprovato tramite restricted-manager ma niente  >:(  ho riconfigurato xorg e niente e infine ho provato ad installare ubuntu 7.10 (nella partizione vecchia uso ancora la 7.04) in una partizione più piccola ma quando provo a riprodurre un video si blocca  >:(  (questo senza driver)...... possibile che solo io non riesco a farla funzionare    :'(

dopo averla provata su Gutsy su Feisty e in fine su Debian etch (senza driver propietari) e dopo aver visto che si blocca comunque credo fermamente che sia rotta  >:( stasera la riportero dal negoziante (speriamo che non mi faccia storie, visto che era usata)
