salve,
ho installato da poco ubuntu 7.10
la sospensione e l'ibernazione non funzionano, ho provato tutto quello che si consiglia sui vari forum  >:(
ho una scheda video Radeon Mobility X700 (PCIE) ho già disattivato compiz e gli effetti
dopo la sospensione mi dà lo schermo nero e non riparte  :'(

no perchè io avevo lo stesso problema e sono riuscito a risolvere

le facce erano (8)..

ah già che stupido, erano (otto)

devi rendere la dodicultima riga senza lo splash
cioè dove sta kernel...da cosi deve diventare cosi dopodichè salva e prova a sospendere/ibernare

niente...
solita storia , schermo nero e non riparte

e aggiungi nel file questa riga se già non c'è
poi da terminale sempre

RIAVVIA e vedi se hai risolto dopodichè se non funziona prova cosi alla riga del tuo kernel rendila cosi

e configurata con fglrx?

strano, io ho fatto ricerche in lungo e in largoi senza trovare soluzione
in realtà ho cambiato pc e quello nuovo non la scheda video della ati

strano, io ho fatto ricerche in lungo e in largoi senza trovare soluzione
in realtà ho cambiato pc e quello nuovo non la scheda video della ati 

si ho risolto...però ero su kubuntu, e ora dico "ca**o che vuoi che cambi una "k" in piu o in meno ?!"

ho provato, è succeso un casino
non mi si avviava più, diceva "file not found"
adesso ho risistemato tutto come era prima e rifunziona
mi sa che rinuncio, troppo pericoloso

sei sicuro di aver cancellato lo "splash" solo nella riga del kernel?
