1- Vedo che sei recidivo ad uppare
2- Se ti logghi come utente root è inutile che metti sudo davanti
3- Controlla la tua connessione, se funziona controlla che i server dei repositories non siano down (basta che metti gli indirizzi nel tuo browser preferito)
4- Se la condizione persiste prova sostituendo i server internazionali a quelli italiani nella lista dei repositories (per es. http://it.archive.ubuntu.com diventa http://archive.ubuntu.com e via di seguito).

Che poi....a occhio non trova nulla, e delle 2 l'una: o non va la connessione oppure hai tutto il sources.list commentato. Verifica la prima e, se la connessione funziona, vai nel menu Sistema > amministrazione > sorgenti software e metti il segno di spunta ai repositories
