[Ati] Impostazioni driver ati e sfarfallii vari.

Salve a tutti.
Possiedo ubuntu da poche settimane e quindi ne so veramente poco e chiedo il vostro aiuto.
Premetto che ho un pc con scheda madre intel, processore core 2 duo 2 gb ram, scheda video ati radeon hd 2400 pro 512 mb con i driver ati 8.4 con il catalyst control center.
a questo punto volevo porvi delle domeande:
Perche nelle impostazioni del catalyst mi dice che la scheda video ha solo 128 mbyte di memoria?
Perche quando attivo gli effetti compiz il 3d nei giochi mi sfarfalla tutto?
Perche quando attivo xwinwrap (per esempio con lo screensaver di matrix)esso si attiva su tutto il desktop e mi sfarfalla tutto ? (penso che questo problema sia legato a compiz)
