Problemone: dopo un fsck ubuntu non si avvia piu...

Ho avviato ubuntu e mi ha iniziao il fsck. Arrivato al 22% mi è uscito questo errore:

a questo punto ho digitato fsck e mi ha chisto un sacco di cose (forse una cinquantina) in cui l'unica risposta era "y". Tipo Inode 2398329 (un numero a caso) Clear?

Fatto questo mi ha chiesto delle cose relative al kernel -2.6.24-19 e io ho sempre cliccato su YES.

Ora riavviando ubuntu, quando inizia a caricare dopo un po le taccette del caricamenteo si fermano (all'inizio) e il pc sembra non fare nulla (nemmeno l'hd fa niente).

Se invece avvio con kernel 18 allora si avvia normalmente e sembra funzionare!

Cosa ho combinato? COme posso risolvere, c'è un modo per riavere il kernel 19 funzionante? se lo reinstallo da synaptic che sccede?

non so a cosa sia legato, ma se con il kernel *18 funziona tutto, allora sì, prova a reinstallare il 19 da synaptic

grazie per la risposta, cmq oggi si è avviato (kernel .19) senza problemi e senza che io abbia fatto nulla...meglio cosi!:)

Ma qualcuno sa come mai è comparso quell'errore?

penso sia qualcosa che non andava nel fs. Però la causa precisa non so... puoi vedere qui per sapere una delle possibili

cosa fa quel comando? non vorrei creare casini

cercando, mi è parso di capire che quello è lo script che esegue il controllo, aprendolo 

gedit /etc/init.d/checkroot.sh

e cercando la frase

puoi risalire alle operazioni che non sono andate a buon fine

quindi pare che i controlli siano stati cannati su tutta la linea!

Questo mi fa pensare che volesse dire di ripetere lo scan loggandosi però dalla sessione di emergenza.

Bhu! dovesse rifare la stessa cosa ad un nuovo controllo prova così

Purtroppo non ricordo le domande precise (erano tantissime) ma la maggior parte erano del tipo" inode 12892893 ..........clear? (y)"

E' possibile effettuare uno scan manuale per vedere se persiste il problema?
Poi una cosa non ho capito, se lo scan vede questo problema come mai funziona tutto alla perfezione?

spero di no, dico solo che leggendo nei commenti dello script i test (chissa perchè) è fallito

per regolare la frequenza dei check vedi

altrimenti, per forzare fsck all' avvio, ho visto questo:

Se devi controllare una partizione ti consiglio, in generale, di farlo sempre da una live. Qualunque azione su partizioni montate è sconsigliatissima
