Non riesco a sincronizzare il palmare

Credo d'aver un problemino. Anch'io devo sincronizzare un palmare con Windows Mobile 2003. Ho seguito la procedura indicata da Wiki, ma già all'inizio dell'operazione ho riscontrato che qualche cosa non va: ho collegato il palmare al pc, l'ho acceso e dopo aver digitato a terminale:

dmesg

stando poi alla guida, mi sarebbe dovuta uscire la seguente risposta:

Come potete notare non mi vine indicato se soo collegato al ttyUSB0 o ttyUSB1 ecc..
quindi già da qui la cosa non va infatti in seguito, procedendo con l'installazione mi viene richiesto a quale porta è collegato il palmare.  :-\

Il modulo del kernel è per gli ipaq et similia, il tuo modello cos'è?
