Salve a tutti,
sono stato un pò assente........
m mi sono scassato una caviglia..
sigh.. :'(

ho un problemone..
ieri sono passato da mint 4 [derivata da ubuntu 7.10] ad elyssa [ossia mint5 derivata da ubuntu 8.04] e dato il problema attualmente ho messo definitivamente ubuntu 8.04 sul pc, ma...............
la connessione wireless del mio portatile e' inspiegabilmente piu' lenta della connessione che ho l'altro pc [anch'esso ubuntu 8.04]sempre in wireless........

In pratica con questo pc [asus a7c] non riesco a scaricare da internet a piu' di 20-25 kb al secondo!! Mentre l'altro pc è normalmente in download a 150-220 soliti.......

da cosa puo' dipendere?

ieri in fase di installazione credevo fosse colpa della linea.........
ma ho appena visto che la colpa è tutta qui.......

nel frattempo ho rimesso gutsy
e chiaramente zero problemi..

ho ritestaot il tutto dal cd live..
niente..
quella scheda wireless con la nuova release non la riconosce +

è una intel PRO/wireless
e con gutsy mi dice che rientra nei "restricted drivers" come la ati.........

in hardy invece......non la sente nemmeno..
o meglio sembrerebbe installata giusta..

ma non va oltre i 20-22kb in download [direttamente da siti dico.....ho provato a vedere lanciando un download di openoffice e un paio di iso da mirror differenti..]
