Problema mount automatico periferiche usb

Salve,
ecco il mio problema,ho installato su un pc Ubuntu Hardy e tutto girava a meraviglia,
tranne un piccolo particolare, l'HD secondario in EXT3 non me lo montava all'avvio...
Fino a questo momento se inserivo una pen usb me la montava in automatico e mi mostrava l'icona sul Desktop...
Per poter far partire all'avvio il disco secondario, ho editato fstab, aggiungendo due righe, una riga per montare il disco secondario e l'altra per montare una cartella condivisa NTFS in rete, il tutto con possibilità di scriverci sopra....

Dopo aver fatto questa modifica e aver riavviato il pc, il disco secondario si monta all'avvio ed anche la cartella
condivisa funziona correttamente,  ma adesso se collego una pen usb od altro per montarla devo andare in Risorse e solo cliccando sopra l'icona mi monta la penna....
cosa può essere successo...

No purtroppo non cambia niente, a parte non farmi vedere la cartella condivisa in rete e
lasciarmi il disco Slave nel menù Risorse....
Non so più cosa pensare.... :( :(

Mi viene in mente un altra cosa, ma è corretto che il disco secondario interno venga riconosciuto come sdb1?

Ok, allora il problema non è di fstab! Che venga nominato sdb1 è corretto, prova a collegare la penna usb e post l'output di dmesg.

Eccolo: sdg: unknown partition table!

Hai provato con un'altra chiavetta usb? Ho il presentimento che ci sia qualcosa che non va in quella che stai usando...

Il problema, come per la chiave precedente è che invece di montarle automaticamente, me li indica in Risorse e se ci vado sopra
col mouse mi scrive > e cliccandoci mi monta il dispositivo sul desktop...poi posso copiare e eliminare qualsiasi file all'interno della chiavetta....

Dimenticato nel frattempo ho installato su un portatile ubuntu 804 e senza modificare fstab, lui funziona bene, con tutte le chiavette....
