Lo xorg è giusto...su preferenze - monitor la risoluzione max qual'è?

posso scegliere tra 800x600 73mhz o 640x480 73 mhz rileva display unknown

cancello proprio tutto quello che hai scritto o solo quello tra virgolette? :-[ salvo prima di ctrl alt backspace? :-[ :-[

quello evidenziato in grassetto... tutto poi salva echiudi lo xorg poi premi contemporaneamente ctrl+alt+backspace

01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation GeForce 6500 (rev a1) dopo la procedura fatta lo schermo è rimasto identico a prima...provo a disabilitare i driver proprietari? ??? ??? ???

Io vorrei evitare di farti seguire questa guida, perchè è un pò complicata, ma credo non ci sia altra soluzione...

stamattina accendendo il pc i driver erano disabilitati e la risoluzione migliorata?? ??? ??? non ho ancora fatto la procedura consigliata aspetto il tuo consiglio!
p.s da nvidia settings non posso fare nulla perchè mi compare una finestra dove mi dice che devo digitare un comando (è tutto scritto in inglese non ci capisco un acca!) :-[ :-[ :-[

per la guida va bene la prima o devo cambiare qualcosa riguardo la versione 8.04? grazie!

Niente anche le ultime modifiche non gli sono piaciute a questo punto possiamo partire con la guida...hai capito cosa fare?
