[Wireless] sony vaio vgn-fw11e problemi wifi

Ciao a tutti, ho appena comprato questo portatile e, come molti, ho problemi con la scheda wireless.
Questo sony ha una scheda intel pro wireless 4965 agn.
Ho installato ndiwrapper, mi dice che i driver di winXp sono installati ma iwconfig mi dà
:~$ iwconfig
lo        no wireless extensions.

eth0      no wireless extensions.

ppp0      no wireless extensions

Potete darmi una mano??
Ho provato anche l'installazione dei sorgenti per linux ma senza risultato.

non riesco nemmeno a far funzionare ndiswrapper che dice che l'hw è installato.

ci sono i driver per la scheda, se hai la versione del kernel corretta

mentre il kernel è 2.6.24-19-generic

P.s ho anche provato a inst i driver ma mi dice che probabilmente il kernel non è adatto. questa è la risposta del comando make sui driver iwlwifi-1.0.0-1... ho provato anche con make  /bin/bash ma niente

Ho trovato in altro post un problema simile?? al mio ma su scheda video.
Qualcuno sà se è possibile impostarla così?

allora, non hai una nvidia, dai questi comandi da terminale:

sudo cp /etc/X11/xorg.conf /etc/X11/xorg.conf.old

e poi:

sudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Ti si aprirà un documento, cerca Section "Device", una volta trovata sostituisci il contenuto di quella sezione con questa:
