ho girato come un calzino googleper trovare una soluzione a uesto problema ma niente da fare
uso kubuntu 8.04 su un notebook asus con scheda video ati hd3470 uso i driver ati e non riesco a impostare una risoluzione maggiore a 1280x800
la risoluzione nativa per questo schermo dovrebbe essere 1440x900, ho anche editato xorg.conf inserendo la risoluzione che voglio ma niente.
prima xorg era cosi

un'altro problema della scheda, che non so se puo essere connesso al problema della risoluzione, e che l'ati-catalist-control-center vede installati sulla scheda solo 128mb di ram, quando la scheda dispone di 256mb.
