problema lettura microsd

Salve ragazzi,
premetto che ho gardato per bene le discussioni già postate che riguardano l'argomento e per un pò ho anche provato a smanettare da sola. :-[
Ma ho visto che la maggior parte riguardano soluzioni che cambiano in base a ciò che viene richiesto di postare dopo prove dal terminale, quindi credo proprio di aver bisogno di voi. :-\
Ho ubuntu 8.10.Inserisco la microsd (nell'adattatore), ma non succede nulla,il sistema proprio non la vede.Come posso fare??

non mi può aiutare nessuno???vorrei spostare nel cellullare, ma non avendo il cavetto usb...non so davvero come fare...

Prova a montarla manualmente. Dopo che l'hai inserita fai
sudo fdisk -l
che vediamo se il sistema la riconosce

Sembra non riconoscerla ... c'è solo l'hd. Prova a toglierla, rimetterla e posta
dmesg
mettilo tra tag code mi raccomando. Però se non la riconosce non so se io riesco ad aiutarti..

a terminale scrivi dmesg invio e poi riporti qui il risultato. Però nel post lo metti tra i tag code (la quarta icona da destra sopra le faccine, #) in modo da non fare un post lunghissimo!

Hai provato un pò di volte a metterla e toglierla ... Comunque sembra riconoscere il lettore ma dà un errore quando inserisci la scheda.
Non so se si può fare qualcosa, bisogna fare una ricerca.., o che intervenga un "espertissimo" !!

ok...grazie dell'aiuto...spero in qualcun altro...purtroppo non avendo in dotazione il cavo usb è l'unico modo per caricare la schedina e inserire qualcosa nel cellulare!!! :'(

Ho cercato un pò in rete e mi sembra di aver capito che può essere un bug del kernel. Non so se ho capito bene (il mio inglese non è fantastico), ma forse è solo un problema di hotplug. Quindi puoi provare a fare sta prova: spegni il pc, metti la card e accendi il pc. Poi posta un
sudo fdisk -l
