[Boot] Boot ritardato per colpa del mouse USB... possibile??

Ho da poco installato sul mio notebook HP Pavilion la versione 9.04 e ho notato un... "bug" per così dire. Ossia dopo la schermata di Grub il pc rimane incantato per un minuti circa con la scritta

BOOT FROM (HDO,2) EXT3 [segue uuid della partizione]
STARTING UP...
dopo di che compare una scritta per un microsecondo e inizia il boot in maniera normale.

Secondo alcune ricerche su internet sembra che sia un problema del mouse USB  :o ed, effettivamente, scollegandolo la schermata con STARTING UP... dura solo qualche secondo.

Qualcuno saprebbe spiegarmi come poter risolvere sto problema (senza magari dover necessariamente staccare il mouse e riattaccarlo a boot avvenuto ;)) ??

compra un adattatore usb/ps2.
strade...? dove andiamo noi non ci servono... strade!

Beh, direi che non è molto lontana alla soluzione "hardware" che avevo ironicamente proposto io...  :)
Nessuna idea che si possa applicare con tastiera e console?? :-\

vai sul bios e disabilita la voce USB LEGACY

Ho un problema "simile", su un notebook Asus A6km (Jaunty): vedo la stessa scritta, ma io devo per forza avviare senza mouse attaccato, altrimenti non si avvia per nulla.
Vale lo stesso suggerimento di disabilitare USB Legacy da Bios?

eseguita lìoperazione descritta prima migliora di pochi secondi,non penso sia lo stesso problema.forse avra il boot lento per causa del suo hardware per il resto e' velocissimo
