strano problema installazione drver nvidia

Premetto che uso ubuntu da ormai 9 mesi e ogni problema sono riuscito a risolverlo in poco tempo consultando wiki o cercando nel forum...
i driver nvidia non mi hanno mai dato problemi ma qualche giorno fa ho deciso di formattare il pc per noie varie causate da me,ora vi chiedo lumi ...come è possibile che adesso non funzionino piu?
Non riesco a venirne a capo ho provato tutti i tutorial possibili ho provato a installare manualmente i driver ufficiali ,ho provato con envy ma bo x non parte...forse è il kernel?non so se avete qualche idea e potete darmi qualche consiglio ....

Proviamo a diagnosticare il problema:

scrivi:

Codice: Seleziona tutto

sudo nano -w /etc/X11/xorg.conf

e setta il driver su "nv" nella Section Device del file.

CTRL+X per uscire (salva il file)

Riavvia il computer:

sudo reboot

Una volta che Ubuntu si è riavviato setta il driver su "nvidia" nel tuo /etc/X11/xorg.conf
Fai Log out e premi CTRL+ALT+F1

Vedrai solo la linea di comando

scrivi:

sudo /etc/init.d/gdm stop (if you use GDM)

poi:

Codice: Seleziona tutto

startx -- -verbose 5 -logverbose 5

Vedrai qualche riga d'errore.

Se non riesci a ritornare alla linea di comando premi CTRL+ALT+F1 o CTRL+C (rispondi NO se ti chiede se vuoi vedere l'output dell'errore o qualcosa del genere)

Copia l'output dell'errore nella tua cartella home:

sudo cp /var/log/Xorg.0.log /home/il_tuo_nome_utente/Xorg.0.log

(ovviamente devi sostituire "il_tuo_nome_utente" con il tuo nome utente)

Accedi nuovamente a GNOME:

sudo nano -w /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Setta il driver su "nv" invece di "nvidia"
CTRL+X to exit (salva il file)

sudo /etc/init.d/gdm stop

Poi

sudo /etc/init.d/gdm start

Posta il contenuto di quel file (che puoi trovare sotto /home/il_tuo_nome_utente/Xorg.0.log )

Usa la funzione di "uninstall" di Envy e poi la funzione "install"

Ho provato niente non funziona....però mi ha dato un errore ,questo è il log
