se i driver video di ubuntu 10.04lts non vanno bene cosa devo fare?

posso installare quelli nati per windows?come?
ve lo chiedo,perchè capitano strane cose al video del mio acer aspire 5735z,e capita anche più spesso ultimamente e cioe spunta una striscia biance orizzontale nel monitor di un millisecondi...grazie..la scheda video non è guasta...in ubuntu 10.04 il problema nn si manifestava..ciao.

Non puoi installare i driver di win su Linux. Questa tecnica funziona a volte SOLO per le schede wireless, ma c'è alle spalle una infrastruttura appositamente studiata che non c'è per i driver delle schede video.

per vedere che scheda video hai.

Il tuo pc, dal punto di vista hardware è perfetto.Hai tutto Intel e non dovrebbe essere quello che ti crea problemi, anzi.....
Il problema dovrebbe essere un altro.

io passerei a 11.04 o meglio 11.10 che esce tra qualche giorno

ma leggete però ragazzi...non mi fate scrivere diecimila volte le cose!!!! ::)
ho detto che,uso ubuntu 10.04!!!e avevo ubuntu 11.04,passai alla 10.04 lts perchè ho 3 anni di aggiornamenti stop!suppongo che non potete aiutarmi..

beh no se usi una distro del medioevo ti tieni i driver del medioevo, oppure aggiorni sia il kernel che il driver sperando che cambi qualcosa

Allora correggi qualcosa qui.
Il titolo parla di 10.04, ma il post dice che la 100.04 non dava problemi.... Capisci che si può facilmente sbagliare ad interpretare....
Detto questo, senza polemica, ma per chiarezza, potresti cercare di individuare più precisamente il problema.
