si lo immaginavo, la versione installata ora è senz'altro vecchia
il problema che mi da errore di codifica quando lo lancio e dal terminale non riesco ad andare avanti
il file hplip 3.11.10.run che ho provato a scaricare più volte me lo da sempre corrotto
aggiornare il software hp, certo ci sono altri modi ?
d'ora in poi copio incollo

bella e interessante pagina di didattica, il comando x per eseguire un file questo penso di averlo capito, rimane il fatto e sono sincero che non capisco una mazza di tutto questo.
io il pc lo uso per quello che serve, internet grafica sharing doc ecc ecc tutto quello che ci sta dentro o lo fa funzionare per me rimane un mistero di cui lascio a voi esploratori il compito di svelare.
ora la mia domanda è semplice:
voglio fare funzionare la mia stampante hp 1020 perchè mi serve per lavorare,non voglio tornare a win perchè mi fa letteralmente cagare, devo aggiornare il software hp ma non so come fare.. con calma e pazienza prendimi per mano e dimmi passopasso come agire.
grazie in anticipo per la comprensione e la disponibilità

Quest'operazione è necessaria e serve alla tua sicurezza. Infatti se i permessi di esecuzione fossero riservati im modo predefinito a tutti, un qualsiasi codice malevolo potrebbe eseguire gli script sul tuo computer e mettere a rischio la sicurezza del tuo pc facendo di esso ciò che vuole (cosa che succede in windows).
Se vuoi cambiare i permessi al file e renderlo eseguibile, fai clic con il tasto destro sul file .run, entri nelle proprietà e vai alla scheda permessi, aggiungendo la possibilità di eseguirlo. Stop ;)
P.S. Ma al dual-boot ci ha mai pensato? Non capisco questo utilizzo esclusivo (o l'uno o l'altro, come se si facesse un dispetto a qualcuno) :-\

ora la stampante da qualche segno di vita
apro hp device manager mi dice che è pronta ma se lancio una stampa mi da errore
