Canon i-sensys MF6530

Buon pomeriggio a tutti, ho un problema con la multifunzione canon i-sensys MF6530...
Sistema operativo Ubuntu 10.04 TLS
Sane
Xsane
Installati.
La stampante funziona perfettamente, mentre per lo scanner ho qualche difficoltà!
Se lancio Xsane e avvio la scansione, lo scanner si accende ed esegue la scansione, ma non arriva al pc il documento scansionato.
Xsane come messaggio dice che è in attesa del ricevimento della scansione e resta li fermo in attesa.
Se si cerca di interrompere il procedimento si congela il programma per alcuni minuti.
ho provato anche con simple scan, gnome scan, ma nulla, adirittura mi dice che non c'è un dispositivo connesso  ???

Disperato ho provato ad installare il driver con wine ma li adirittura mi dice che non c'è nessun scanner  :-\

Ho cercato sul forum e nel web delle soluzioni ma non ne ho trovate  >:(

Quindi recapitolando.. con Xsane lo scanner si avvia.. ma non arriva al pc il documento scansionato!

Qualcuno ha idea di che cosa potrebbe essere dipeso il problema?

Non puoi installare i driver di windows con wine  ;D

Ok avevo seguito un consiglio in rete di usare i driver di windows installandoli con wine..
gli applicativi si sono installati solo che e come non averli.. hehe
quindi presumo che hai ragione tu ^^
La stampante si trova in ufficio e ho voluto avere linux al posto di winzoz per ovvie preferenze di protezione ecc.. ecc..
Quindi posso farlo solo lunedì quando rientro a lavoro

per fortuna che c'è un posto come questo forum a raddrizzare le cose

che lo supportava ed era completo lo sapevo.. ed ero anche abbastanza sorpreso a dire il vero

Dopo aver lasciato la mia stampante inutilizzata per qualche tempo mi trovai improvvisamente in grado di stampare con la mia stampante Canon iP4300 (la quale è collegata tramite USB e dovrebbe essere gestita da CUPS). Dopo l'accensione della stampante dmesg mostrava il seguente output

Il problema qui è il sottosistema di stampa USB del kernel chiamato 'usblp'. Qualcuno potrebbe averlo compilato nel kernel (come me - sembrava una buona idea al momento) e altri potrebbero averlo come modulo. Se si dispone di esso come modulo, scaricatelo [nel senso di disattivarlo, il contrario di modprobe ndr] e mettetelo in blacklist in modo che non verrà caricato automaticamente. Riaccendete la stampante ed esso dovrebbe improvvisamente diventare disponibile in CUPS.
Se è stato compilato nel kernel - come nel mio caso - ricompilate il kernel dopo la disattivazione della stampa USB. Il gestore del dispositivo lo rileverà se lo si collega nuovamente in modo che il sottosistema di stampa lo possa utilizzare.
In una nota a margine: sarebbe stato bello avere un avvertimento nella descrizione del kernel che utilizza sottosistema di stampa non funziona correttamente se si utilizza 'usblp' ...
