Ubuntu 11.04 su HP Mini 210-3000sl, problema scheda RaLink rt5390

Ciao a tutti, prima di tutto vorrei dire che sono un novizio di questo forum che consulto spesso e a cui non ho mai chiesto nulla perchè ho sempre risolto tutto. Ho cercato su google fino allo sfinimento il modo per risolvere questo problema: da quando ho installato ubuntu 11.04 sul mio nuovo hp mini 210 3000sl non sono mai riuscito a connettermi via wireless. Cercando in rete si trovano guide su guide (scarica, modifica, patcha, installa, ecc...) ma nessuna sembra funzionare. Sono 3 giorni ormai che sbatto la testa  >:( ma niente da fare. C'è qualcuno che può aiutarmi??
