[Wireless] Problema Wireless Ubuntu 11.04

Salve a tutti.
Premetto che sono nuovo del forum e spero di aver scelto la sezione giusta per il mio problema.
Uso ubuntu già da 2-3 anni provando diverse versioni (9.10 - 10.10 ecc)
Nonostante ciò solo con quest'ultima versione di Ubuntu 11.04 ho un problema con la wireless del mio Netbook Acer AOD255.
Il problema non è fisso ma varia senza senso a mio parere. Ci sono dei momenti dove la connessione va benissimo poi senza apparente motivo la scheda wireless non comunica più col router calando improvvisamente a 1 Mb/s.
Premetto che la connessione non ha alcun tipo di problema in quanto navigo con la stessa su 3 pc. Nemmeno il Netbook ha problemi harfware visto che sullo stesso pc ho sia Ubuntu 11.04 che Windows 7 e usando Win navigo senza alcun problema a 150 Mb/s.
Ho già letto su internet tantissimi forum dove mooltissimi utenti hanno avuto problemi wireless con Ubuntu 11.04
Chiedo il vostro aiuto visto che io non riesco a capire il problema.

Su Windows 7 la periferica mi viene riconosciuta come Intel(R) WiFi Link 1000 BGN

Non ho approfondito tutti i post, ma dai titoli o altro sembra coincida con il tuo, o almeno ti danno la possibilità di effettuare qualche test? Li hai letti? In quali punti trovi difficoltà? ???

Il primo link dà solo dei codici da inserire nel terminale senza spiegare a cosa servano. Questi codici mi danno alcune informazioni che io nemmeno capisco..
Dal secondo link son riuscito a capire qualcosa:
The wireless driver iwlagn for that intel card works fine in G but will not work if you
as an N card. If you try to use N it will slowly lose connection or just go real slow.
You can check in /etc/modprobe.d for a config file if having connection problems. If
need a config file to make card usable see below: intell 5300 will work if already there also.
This is a must for 11.04 with Intel Centrino wireless N 1000 if router set to work
at N speeds at mixed 20 and 40 mhz or just 40 mhz. If no other installs can just set router at G speeds and 20 mhz and will work fine without config file.
Fix is to make a config file and put this in.

gksudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/iwlagn.conf
Now put this line in and close and reboot.

options iwlagn 11n_disable50=1 11n_disable=1
Makes the card just use the G capabilities in Linux.
If you dual boot can still run at 144 mb/s or N in windows.
Can run at 54 mb/s in linux (still plenty fast enough)
If anyone wants to know if they have N running in this card run

A quanto ho capito in Ubuntu 11.04 c'e un problema di compatibilità con wireless 802.11 N.
Io posseggo un modem settato a 40 mhz e penso sia questo il problema anche se con Windows non ho alcun problema.
A questo punto ora provo la guida che dice (creare quel file con quel codice da inserire) e vi faccio sapere se funziona.
Mi dispiace però che su Ubuntu non possa usufruire al massimo della mia scheda Wireless 802.11 b/g/n.

Inoltre, da quanto ho capito leggendo la citazione che hai postato, sembra che modificando iwlagn.conf (file di configurazione del driver della scheda wireless) si possa disabilitare la modalità 'n', lasciando attive soltanto 'b' e 'g' (viene usata quest'ultima disabilitando 'n') al prezzo di una minore potenza, ma ci sono anche dei vantaggi in termini di minori interferenze (yes)

Seguendo la guida che mi hai linkato son riuscito a risolvere il problema del risparmio energetico. Ecco la mia iwconfig:
