Problemi WNDA3100

Salve,
per la ristrutturazione della rete che uso (non scelgo io) mi è stata data una chiavetta Netgear WNDA 3100 v2.
Inserita nell'usb non viene neanche vista dal mio SO che è Ubuntu 10.04 a 64 bit.
Ho trovato un unica guida che consigliava di installare i driver tramite Ndiswrapper.
Ho fatto, i driver risultano installati, ma non funziona niente come prima.
Sono disperato perchè a giorni commutano tutto via wi-fi e non mi danno altro hardware....che devo fare?

questo è strano..prova a ripetere la procedura di installazione del file .inf

sembrerebbe da quello che ho letto finora che ndiswrapper non funzioni con questa chiavetta...
se scrivi un messaggio qui forse ti possono aiutare più di me, in quanto lucid 64 leggendo i commenti sarebbe compatibile a meno della WPA..
cercando ancora in rete alcuni (ved. post#7) hanno fato riferimento alla belkin F7D4101v1 che (avrebbe lo stesso .inf (bcmwlhigh5, almeno di nome) e ancora chipset broadcom 4323.
Da quella discussione cercando ancora sono arrivato a questa dove al post#6 hanno risolto, nel senso che hanno usato quei tre file al posto di quello che "non va" per la belkin..rimane un problema con la wpa, ma la wep sembra andare.
mi rendo conto che non è una soluzione, ma forse, vista l'urgenza..

Niente, non ci riesco: sarà il mio inglese del c..., ma non ci riesco.
Comunque è assurdo che non sia risolto il problema per una delle chiavette più diffuse....che palle!
