ciao ragazzi,
nonostante le numerose guide che ho potuto trovare non sono ancora riuscito a sentire il minimo suono dal mio mac con ubuntu...
Premetto che sono nuovo del mondo linux e quindi non molto pratico.
Ho un imac 8.1 e ho installato ubuntu 11.04 con wubi su win7 e fin dall'installazione non si sente l'audio, solo con le cuffie si riesce a sentire anche se molto molto basso...
Voi avete qualche idea valida per risolvere il problema???

invece di wubi prova ad installare ubuntu in dual boot (yes)

P.S. Da live cd l'audio funziona? ???

Basta guarda il Master per vedere che è impostato su mute (yes) Attiva il canale selezionandolo e premendo 'm'. Dovrebbe modificare l'etichetta in '00' :D

Prova a impostare su '00' anche tutti gli altri canali in Riproduzione, poi mostra la schermata

ecco la schermata...ho anche provato a mettere al massimo tutte le barre (quelle che sono al minimo è perchè non riesco a modificarle) ma l'audio non funzia...

Apri un terminale e digita i seguenti comandi:

cat /proc/asound/card0/codec* | grep Codec 
cat /proc/asound/cards

riportando i risultati qui sul forum all'interno del tag 'code'

Apri anche l'archivio HD-Audio-Models.txt che si trova in /usr/share/doc/alsa-base/driver e incolla il contenuto qui sul forum sempre all'interno del tag 'code' (yes)
