[Wireless] Disabilitare scheda rete integrata!! ubuntu 11.10

Ciao a tutti!!
Ho un netbook con ubuntu 11.10 e due schede di rete(Wireless) una usb con antenna e l'altra integrata..premesso che con la combinazione di tasti fn+ecc del mio pc la scheda integrata non si spegne vorrei sapere come disattivarla da terminale perche con questa versione di ubuntu la scheda prova sempre a connettersi a tutte le reti!!e mi si apre continuamente il popup chiedendo l'immissione della chiave fastidiosissimo!!Qualcuno può aiutarmi grazie!!

Da terminale postami questo comando senza l'adattatore di rete wireless usb:

così vedo il modulo driver della scheda di rete wireless integrata da blacklistare, così all'avvio non parte la connessione automatica.

soluzione brutale: potresti provare a disattivarla dal bios (ammesso che il tuo bios te lo permetta)

@ magozurlinux ora non posso postarti lsmod ma la procedura che dici tu è questa:
edito il file
sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
e alla fine aggiungo la riga con
blacklist Drivermiascheda

Prego, di nulla.

Esatto, mettere il modulo driver della tua scheda di rete wireless dentro il file /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf; però per alcune schede di rete wireless bisogna blacklistare altri moduli driver che utilizza quella scheda.

Come ha detto Pingue_pinguino la sua soluzione sarebbe la migliore, però bisogna vedere se il tuo BIOS prevede la disabilitazione della scheda di rete wireless integrata.

Purtroppo non sono riuscito a risolvere il problema!! 
Dal bios metto always off ma ubuntu riattiva l'integrata!!
Mentre per backlistare ho il problema che entrambe le schede sia quella intefrata che quella USB hanno il chipset ATHEROS non riesco a capire i driver da backlistare!!

Comunque penso sia proprio un bug della 11.10 ho gnome shell ma anche su unity è lo stesso!!
Con la 11.04 mi connettevo con la usb annullavo la connessione con l'integrata e finiva là! con la 11.10 ogni 30 secondi si prova a connettere con tutte le wireless che sono presenti!!sto sempre a premere annulla!!
HELP HELP!!!..Ubuntu non lo lascio sono 6 anni che lo uso!!!

Sì, potrebbe essere un bug della 11.10; ancora non l'ho provata.

Con sudo ifconfig wlan0 down si spegne!!..Alla fine si forse è la soluzione migliore!!Tampono così!!

Si avevo pensato allo scriptino(anche sul desktop spegni e accendi!!) Gnome shell ha gia i tasti on e of sulle schede wireless ma anche quà, se ne disattivo una si spengono entrambe!!forse agisce sul driver!!!
Alla fine faccio lo script grazie mille di nuovo

Si probabilmente disabilita il modulo... altrimenti puoi direttamente mettere [code]ifconfig wlan0 down

in /etc/rc.local[/code] prima di exit 0
