C'e' da dire anche un'altra cosa, quando riavvio il computer, dopo una normale fase iniziale, mi appare il seguente messaggio:
Sono stati rilevati i seguenti errori. Potrebbe essere necessario aggiornare la propria configurazione per risolvere il problema.
(EE) Failed to load "nvidia" (modules does not exist, 0)
(EE) no drivers available.
Dopo questo messaggio mi viene presentata una finestra con delle scelte tra cui "avvia grafica in modalità ridotta" e "riavvia X".
Io scelgo proprio quest'ultima opzione e ubuntu parte, chiaramente senza poter abilitare gli effetti.
:'(
Se il problema non si risolve, sto pensando di fare un ripristino di un backup fatto una quindicina di giorni fa...

La cosa bella è che se visualizzo con vlc un filmato hd , questo viene riprodotto senza problemi.
Se invece avvio un gioco tipo savage, risulta essere di una lentezza esasperante.

Ora è venuta fuori anche una segnalazione di crash nell'area di notifica.
In pratica mi viene comunicato che non è stato possibile aggiornare nvidia-current.
Ma la cosa bella è che non riesce nemmeno la segnalazione dell'errore perchè si verifica un I/O error (file o directory inesistente).
Help >:(

spegni e riavvia e reinstalla se non si avvia installali da
reocvery

prova cosi dai il --purge remove,una volta riavviato,dai
sudo dpkg --configure -a
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade
e reinstalla i current
