ubuntu 11.10 e webcame trust wb1200

salve, dopo l'aggiornamento tale web came ha smesso di funzionare.

Nel tentativo di reinstallarlo non trovo il pacchetto gpsa con i driver della web came

come si può rimediare?

La mia webcam è una logitech. Dopo l'esecuzione dei comandi (grazie!) funziona, ma con righe verdi orizzontali in Cheese. Non ho modo al momento di provarla su Skype...

questo output non l'ho mai visto; forse è un bug nel kernel di Ubuntu 11.10.

Gli output per la webcam vanno bene.

Io vedo molto bene, anche se il sistema fa un po' il seccato. La cosa curiosa è che mi vedo a specchio (immagine invertita).

Se quello è un bug, non va segnalato? E come?

Come suggerito in diversi forum, prova a digitare il seguente comando per far partire skype:

LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib32/libv4l/v4l2convert.so skype
e verifica se la webcam funziona.
Se funziona puoi creare uno script con questo comando ed usarlo per lanciare skype

e verifica se la webcam funziona.

il file gspca.txt lo trovi nella tua cartella home.

Prendi queesto file e l'alleghi in Opzioni aggiuntive, così vedo cos'è successo.

Ho rifatto la prova (Mint Mate) reinviando i comandi perchè si era bloccata - il rapporto deve esser fragile, come ma? - e la cam è ripartita. Ma in Skype (ultima versione aggiornata oggi, 4.0) la cam continua a non funzionare...

Devi fare copia e incolla usando i tag code, così l'outpit risulta più leggibile.
