[RISOLTO] Driver Nvidia non si installano

Ho provato diverse volte a d installare i driver nvidia dai repository ma non c'è verso di attivarli.
Quando da console scrivo "sudo nvidia-glx-config enable" il risultato è

ho visto anche io quella guida , am il risultato quando vado ad abilitare i driver è sempre lo stesso, ovvero che non riesce a caricare i driver , come ho messo nel primo post.

Scusami... non capisco.... che significa scaricare e abilitare.... puoi postare lsmod | grep nv

Significa che dopo che hai scaricato il driver devi scrivere da riga di comando sudo bl bla enable
A questo punto mi viene visualizzato l''errore che ho riportato al primo post.
Per la cronaca la scheda è una 6200 agp e il chernel è la versione 386

La tua scheda è identica alla mia.... e dà belle soddisfazioni! Hai provato a dare il comando suggerito da Janvitus?

Se sei ancora in panne posta l'output di cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Almeno nv dovrebbe comparire!!! Stai andando con fb?

Fino a che non guardiamo in /etc/X11/xorg.conf non lo sapremo mai....

se non ti dà errori e lo ritrovi caricato con lsmod......

Scrivi nvidia li dove evidenziato in rosso

Il file da editare è xorg.conf e questa è la sezione device del file e lo puoi editare così:

Da un'altra parte ho letto che basta riconfigurare il server grafico perchè tutto vada a posto.

Già che ci sono faccio anche questa domanda: come faccio a vedere se i driver sono attivi?sul mio PC don ubuntu ho avuto lo stesso problema hodusato DPKG e tutto sembra funzionare , solo che non si vede il logo nvidia.

se non ti restituisc errori sei a posto, devi fargli caricare quelli buoni (nvidia) al posto di quelli attuali (nv)

io avevo provato con glxgears ma gli ingranaggi sembrano fluidi.
Questo vuol dire che la presenza del logo all'avvio non è detto che si manifesti??

nv è il modulo del kernel, e in xorg.conf c'è nv.
Se tu hai installato bene i driver nvidia digitando

il modulo viene caricato, altrimenti ti dice che non lo trova.

prova a lanciare googleearth e vedi che ti dice...... secondo me ti dice che il tuo 3d non è abilitato e sarà lentissimo....
