Stampante Epson non stampa più

Ciao a tutti non so per quale motivo, ma la mia stampante non stampa più, se l'immagine può aiutarvi eccola:

Controlla anche il livello di tutto l'inchiostro. Saluti.

Lampeggiante no: ho quella verde di funzionamento e una rossa (gocciolina) che indica che c'è poco inchiostro nella cartuccia
inoltre come posso fare per vedere lo stato delle cartucce? Perché ho scaricato mtink, ma non parte (inoltre l'icona è un foglio col punto di domanda)

inseriti a stampante collegata ed accesa, ma non cambia nulla

Lo so che non cambia nulla; non hai postato l'output di quei comandi, mi servono per vedere se ci sono problemi hardware o software.  ;D

Quando dai quei comandi da terminale copia ed incolla l'output per ogni comando nel riquadro del messaggio cliccando # (tag code), lo trovi sopra questa icona  :-X

gli errori evidenziati in rosso evidenziano un errore dovuto a qualche bug nel kernel relativo alle porte usb, la stampante dal comando lsusb viene rilevata, però, dopo essere stata inserita in una porta usb, la relativa porta viene disabilitata.

La stampante è collegata ad un hub oppure direttamente ad una porta usb?

Prova a cambiare porta usb e mi riposti questo comando:

Usi Ubuntu 11.10?

Ho avuto un altro utente che colla stampante Epson ed Ubuntu 11.10 non gli riconosceva più questa stampante, alla fine ho trovato che si trattava di un bug nel kernel che non rileva le stampante Epson dalle porte usb.

La tua stampante Epson usb non è stata rilevata; togli la stampante dalla porta usb;

da terminale dai questo comando e premi Invio:

tail -f /var/log/messages
inserisci la stampante alla porta usb;

segui gli output a video relativi alla rilevazione della stampante; quando non emette più messaggi, premi Ctrl c per terminare il comando;

postami questo output per analizzare quello che viene emesso dal comando tail -f ..
