Da _ieri_ si avvia solo con nolapic , dove sta il problema?

Ciao a tutti,

ho passato tutta la domenica fino alle 2 di notte! a capire cosa cavolo è successo al mio pc :(

ieri mattina dopo 5 6 mesi di utilizzo senza problemi, mi si freeza ubuntu e al riavvio non va più, vari scritte etc dopo il grub

all'inzio pensavo fosse un problema con il raid o il file system sputtanato, dopo svariati tentativi staccando e riattaccando tutto sono riuscito a capire che usando nolapic si avvia ...

Il problema è che, il cd di installazione di windows non parte, arrivato al setup inizia a bippare come un pazzo, windows già messo in multiboot ovviamente non va

ubuntu installato non va se non con nolapic , anche da livecd

memetest completato senza errori

ho staccato tutte le periferiche, anche gli hdd, provato a scambiare ram, una alla volta etc

con noapic senza L non va.


ora, cosa cavolo è questo nolapic ? cosa si rotto sulla mobo? tutto integrato anche la scheda video.

è proprio la scheda video?


non so che cavolo di pesci pigliare, perlomeno ora lo posso utilizzare.

disabilitando lapic funziona con un solo processore.
tutti gli interrupt vengono gestiti da una sola CPU

Certe volte è necessario disabilitare lapic perchè il BIOS è guasto

quindi potrebbe essermi partita la cpu ? :|

o il bios?

non c'entra sicuramente niente, ma il reset a default dal menu del bios l'ho fatto quindi non si tratta di impostazioni. nel senso, potrebbe mai servire a qualcosa staccare la batteoria per resettare del tutto?

o devo prepararmi a farmela sostituire? :(
che poi cosa, la mobo o la cpu? :(

Andando per tentativi, la prima cosa che mi viene in mente sarebbe
sudo lshw

lspci -k
vediamo se tutti i bridges sono ancora gestiti

cat /proc/interrupts (vediamo come siamo messi con gli interrupts)

stavo vedendo pure io, è strano perché da manuale avevo letto dove dovevano stare, mi sarò confuso. Oppure ieri facendo le varie prove le ho rimontate male.

Ho provato a lasciare una sola stecca di ram, non su tutti e 4 ma solo su due attacchi. Ma non è cambiato nulla.
E come dicevo il memtest è pure andato bene.

Poi io eliminerei la configurazione
RAID
dal Bios

(tanto Windows non ti parte lo stesso)

Inoltre, strano dichiara 4 cores ma non li descrive parla soltanto di una CPU, è vero che hai segato tutto mettendo nolapic)

Io farei (solo dopo aver eliminato RAID)
dmesg > dmesg (lo trovi nella tua home e  lo spedisci)

ho già provato con una sola ram, cmq ho appena riprovato sul blocco 1 ma sempre uguale
windows praticamente non lo uso, ma era giusto per far sapere che sto con multiboot e che cmq il problema non era solo ubuntu.

ho provato anche tutte e 2 le uscite della scheda video, visto che ho 2 monitor, prima uno e poi l'altro dvi e analog, niente.

ho staccato completamente gli hdd, anche ieri e il problema rimane, questo è il dmesg da live cd

sorry, volevo farlo ma non ero in cerca di un tag spoiler o simile e non avevo trovato come farlo.

non per rompere troppo le scatole, ma si riesce a escludere qualcosa? a venirne a capo in qualche modo? :(

perché tutti i mezzi hanno meno di 6 mesi di vita e quindi dovrei rimandare indietro quello che non va, via posta :\

certo però che fastidio :| mai successo in vita mia :| e sono 30 anni che smazzo con i pc :\

senti alla luce di quel poco che abbiamo visto, direi che che

1 ipotesi- è saltato il Southbridge
2 ipotesi il Bios è corrotto oppure settato male ( Strano però che l' abbia fatto all' improvviso)

L' ultima verifica potrebbe essere

fai
cat /var/log/syslog

e mandalo (entro i tag codes # perchè è lungo)

spedito questo e controllato, direi che un PC che non parte più con Windows oppure Linux ha fondamentalmente ragioni sufficenti per rispedirlo indietro

guarda, tutti i pezzi sono nuovi, installati nemmeno 6 mesi fa, montati da me ( come negli ultimi 30 anni ).
Il bios non ho fatto particolari modifiche, ne overclock, e per scrupolo ho provato anche a caricare le impostazioni di default.
Quindi i settaggi sbagliati li escluderei, anche perché mai avuti problemi negli ultimi 5 mesi.
