[Risolto]problema non riconos. scanner epson perfection V350

Salve a tutti,
ho seguito la guida seguente per installare e configurare lo scanner epson perfection V350 photo:

Per la configurazione, i punti 1 e 2 sono stati inutili perché la modifica era già presente.
La stessa cosa vale per il punto 3: già presente.
Però con Xane, Simple Scan, dice che lo scanner non è riconosciuto.

CIao,a volte anchio ho problemi col riconoscimento del mio scanner,un Epson Perfection 2480 Photo,risolvo semplicemente provando più volte a chiudere/aprire l'applicazione...
Non riesco a fare diversamente...
Prova comunque a fare tutti gli aggiornamenti e anche alla nuova versione di Ubuntu,io ho la 11.10 Oneiric.

Dici che devo aggiornare la versione di Ubuntu?
Come può essere che il sistema riconosce lo scanner ma i programmi no?

Provare ad aggiornare non ti costa nulla...

Ho provato a seguire la procedura di installazione
http://wiki.ubuntu-it.org/Hardware/StampantiScanner/ScannerEpson su Ubuntu 10.04 64bit.
Arrivato alla Configurazione, punto 3, non riesco ad andare avanti in quanto non trovo il file /etc/udev/rules.d/45-libsane.rules
Come dovrei procedere?

ciao, devi sapere che la epson non fa drivers per ubuntu, nella mia epson ( fax, Sacnner, fotocopiatrice ecc..) ubutnu non può dirmi il livello di inchostro ( ad esempio) ma però ( anche se nn si può scrivere ma però), scanerizza stampa tutto quel che voglio.
io non ho presente il tuo modello, però un mio amico ha una vechhia stampante epson, la quale non viene riconosciuta. se il tuo scanner è vecchio ( nn lo so) probabile che il problema sia quaello,
ma ti ricordo che anche se è nuovo la epson nono produce drivers per ubuntu .
questa era giusto un informazione che forse ti può essere daiuto

La guida che ti ho postato dice
4 Una volta ottenute tali informazioni, sarà sufficiente aggiungere la stringa dello scanner all'interno del file /etc/udev/rules.d/45-libsane.rules. Per esempio, per identificare lo scanner dell'esempio precedente sarà necessario aggiungere la seguente stringa:
SYSFS{idVendor}=="XXXX", SYSFS{idProduct}=="YYYY", MODE="664", GROUP="scanner"
Sostituendo alla dicitura «XXXX» e «YYYY» i dati trovati precedentemente. Ecco un esempio corretto di modifica:
# Epson Perfection V10
SYSFS{idVendor}=="04b8", SYSFS{idProduct}=="012d", MODE="664", GROUP="scanner"
Una volta salvato il file lo scanner sarà pronto per essere utilizzato con xsane.

Il problema è che non trovo il file: /etc/udev/rules.d/45-libsane.rules
ovvero il punto 3, e non ancora il 4

Lo scanner funzionava perfettamente simple scan o Xane, prima di cambiare versione di Ubuntu (9.04)
